An in-ground pool is available in season for your relaxation, as well as shaded spots to sit and read under the tall trees. Inside, there’s a large guest lounge for your use. The house is centrally air conditioned for your comfort.
A Captivating Stay in Stratford…
Start your day with tea and coffee at 7:30 a.m. and relax in the large comfortable guest lounge. Breakfast is served between 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. (8:30 to 9:30 weekends) in the spacious dining room. You’ll enjoy the old-world atmosphere created by the wainscotted walls and a unique curved panelled ceiling.
Our full breakfast menu usually consists of the following:
- Choice of juice
- Tea or coffee (incl. decaffeinated)
- Choice of dry cereal
- Muffins, cake, loafs and/or pastry
- A hot dish (not always including eggs)
Come in the Kitchen after 7:30 a.m. for a coffee or tea to enjoy in your room, in the Guest Lounge or in the garden. You are always welcome stay in the Kitchen, have a seat and visit with the cook… I enjoy the company.
The Guest Fridge, located in the Back Office, is available for your convenience. Please feel free to help yourself to any beverage. However, if it is in a bag, it belongs to another guest and therefore off limits.
Checkout is at 10:30 a.m. to give us time to prepare the room for arriving guests. If you’re planning to stay in Stratford a bit longer, you are welcome to leave your vehicle in our parking area until 12:00 noon; just let us know.
General info:
Prices per night based on double occupancy (ask for single occupancy rate when making reservation) for a multiple night stay for a 2024 season. Single night stay during months of June, July, August and September available only when you find a hole in our calendar, in which case an additional $50 surcharge will be applied.
An additional charge of $50.00 for a third person staying will be applied for The Prince of Wales and The Canadiana Room, which are the only rooms that can accomodate third person.
Month of May and October 2024 a discount of $20.00 per night for multiple nights stay is offered. Please ask for details.
All rooms are subject to 13% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) and 4% MAT (Municipal Accommodation Tax).
